Other than Dave/Darlene, and Richard/kids, Anyone else going on Thursday?

I am planning on arriving Thursday. A few things at work may change my plans.. but I won't know for sure til closer to the date.

You got that right Richard! Then again, it would be a good excuse to purchase a new htt after the pup rolls down the hill.

We were planning to make this trip until Tim informed us that it is the weekend of prom and he is planning on attending his last prom. Boy the nerve of that kid!! LOL!!
So, we will be there in spirit only. Really wish we could be there, we love Smoky Bear and the O'Leary's. They run a very nice campground.
We are looking forward to camping with as many of our Volunteer friends as possible this summer!!

Don, you realize that this means that Coolbreeze will be settling for the less savory fare that I whip up in the campsite. He'll miss you more than the rest of us. There will be plenty of other trips this summer.

Coolbreeze, you might as well go ahead and reserve the spot HappyCamper gave up that is between Butch/Donna and me, so you can go outside the mansion and sniff the air to decide which direction smells like the best meal being fixed. A man like you needs choices.

I was thinking about calling this Monday.

Dave and I are planning a pre-trip once it warms up before this trip.

I'm hoping for a pre-trip as well. That's a great idea. I'll likely go over to Warrior's Path as it's so handy for us. I thought about going even before it warms up.

I might make another Dam trip. I was by there today, and saw that the Dam Store was for sale by the Dam owner.

theres a good chance I will do a trip before the "KICK OFF"... not sure where.

I received a phone call from Chong last night. She wanted to make sure I was the one that cancelled. I just wanted to say that she seems really nice and I really hope to make it to Smoky Bear sometime this season. So, if anyone ever wants to do a "quick trip" there.. please post it

Well I did my reservation online last night. I will have to wait for a conformation to see what site I got. I asked for Betty's site since she had to cancel. I left in the comments that I was with Vol. Campers.

Chuck, I hope you know something that I don't. I asked for site #18 but when I got my conformation email, nothing was mentioned about which site I had.

Sorry, but there will no playing house in my 5'er. Kids are more than welcome on the outside, I have a big lot to play in.

It looks like Diane and I are off the hook for the weekend of Apr 30. Originally we were going to go to the prom at our school, but we have changed our minds!! Can you blame me (imagine me in a tux). So we are going to try to go to Smokey Bear (if there is any room left)!!

Should be room left.. when you call.. ask Chong about one of these open sites (if you want). She was holding these for us. Not sure how loinbg she will hold them.
