Craigw: 2-12 ct Hamburger buns

Alan: Soda and Chips
Saturday Breakfast:

Richard: Bacon,
CoolBreeze: Sausage,

Way to go Darlene. Did you say "Prize" for the best busy bee do-dad? WooHoo. I won't win it, but it never hurts to try.

Richard predicts a future conversation, "Tim, if you didn't enter, how come you have those bee pictures all over your 5er." "Is that spray paint?"
(just kidding)

You don't necessarily have to do your own busy bee decorations. Someone might help you.

I first thought you were talking about the smashed bugs on the front cap of the 5'erRichard wrote:coolbreeze1 wrote:Richard wrote:coolbreeze1 wrote:I'm not entering this contest, so there is a chance Richard

So Coolbreeze what you are saying is "not part of the group"

I've got my three year old working on an idea (she is much more creative than I). I am looking forward to the contest.

The challenge is on. Caroline, my 9-year old, is drawing sketches of her plans. She suggested painting or wrapping the PUP to look like a giant Bee. I suspect I'll wish I hadn't told her about the contest by the time she's done. Or at least I'll wish that I waited until right Bee-fore the trip.
My plan is to tone down her plans to perhaps a piniata or some home-made globes for the tacky lights. Then again, the PUP would look like quite a honey of a camper if it was all done up in black and yellow.
Re: Smoky Bear Camping Trip
The funny part is going to be with just one winner, we get to watch Darlene having to tell all the rest of the kids that they didn't win, because whoever she picked did win. I'm going to tell mine to bawl and cry if they don't win.
Re: Smoky Bear Camping Trip
It's too bad we can't find a closeout on those little bee costumes the stores sell around haloween. I could dress the kids in them and they would be the decorations. They certainly stay busy. Of course they might be a bit embarassed, but hey, it would bee for the contest.
Re: Smoky Bear Camping Trip
I love all of the Buzz that's happening on this board, It's really Beecoming of this group to keep this going for the Smokey Bear trip. Everyone is so Busy coming up with ideas, I can hardly stand it. It should turn out to Bee a Honey of a trip.
Richard, this post is all your fault. You got me going on all of this bee stuff. It really stings me when this happens...

I suppose it gives you the hives as well. Happy pollination!
Re: Smoky Bear Camping Trip
To bee or not to bee, that is the question for Coolbreeze. Or is that CoolBees?

Re: Smoky Bear Camping Trip
Anyone thought of a bee hive (light). Now that would light up any camper. I am happy to see others wanting to take this contest and run with it. I do hope to see some creative do-dads.

Contest or not your 5th'er may see bee's before the trip is over. Surely you can find something to add that club spirit. It is a large group trip and we just don't want you left out
