Chuck, that would be very disappointing if you were not able to come to the kick off campout.

The things some people do to avoid camping next to Miss Danger. I hope you can make it Chuck, if not we'll join you over at Cove Lake again. It's a drive, but we really liked it. My kids expecially like the Ranger programs and games.

OK, the kickoff trip has to have a theme. Last year Darlene came up with the Bee theme, and I don't recall who won. This year I'm suggesting that we are a bright and shiny group. Bring out those bucket lights, Christmas strings, flamingos, globes, rope lights, etc. I'm not sure if the prize will go to the best, worst, most elegant, tackiest, brightest, ugliest, smartest, coolest, most inventive, most pitiful, dumbest or what, but there will be a small and insignificant prize that I will provide.

Richard are you volunteering for camp host on this trip?

I'm volunteering to supply a trivial and valueless prize for the tacky-light competition. That's all.

It won't be much, but it'll be better than the beverages you aren't bringing for the cornhole tournament old buddy! hahaha. You aren't going to rope me in on that one!

Rope you in? Never crossed my mind. Since you already have taken the lead in announcing a contest, the next thing would be to have you as the group host. I'm sure everyone would agree.

I know what you mean..Since I work a second shift, and to guarantee i am off a Saturday to camp, I always ask for Friday off

I will not be attending the KICK OFF campout.. we have an employee out on extended sick time for surgery.. I will be covering the extra shift. Will not be able to be off on those days.

Sorry to hear that Chuck. You will be missed. Hope your co-worker rebounds quickly from the surgery.

Chuck, maybe you can come up for our little cornhole tournament, or maybe a meal?

Volunteer Campers will receive a 10% discount for this event.

Tim will be right in the middle of all the kids - we'll send them over there to play! (I think I already suggested that on about page #3 of this thread). He didn't seem to take it that time, so maybe this time, he will be more accepting!!! (Just kidding, Tim - unless you take us up on the offer!!)

I look nothing like a big ol teddy bear!

Just 3 more weeks until our first group camp-out. I can hardly wait, this will be the longest 3 weeks for me.

Karen I were trying to get there, but just hit a snag my toad broke down in Fla #3 fuel injector plug won't stay in place and can't get to it with out removing the whole assembly . I had just had these parts replaced before we left by a company in Newport. I guess if you want to get things done right do them yourself.
