Congrats!

Did you sleep in it in your yard last night? I know I would have!

Just think, Dar...you don't have to run to the bathhouse so often now!

The camper is a 2000 Bantam Trail Lite, sleeps 8, it has 2 stoves one inside and one for outside. Also two tables one can be moved out side, they both will make one queen and one full size beds. The bathroom is a shower comode combination, will need to add a mirror at the sink of the kitchen. Over all we really love it.

Now you have a new reason to go shopping for the things you will need in your new camper. Sewer hose, toilet paper, the list can go on Shocked

I looked one of those up, on the internet.. to see pics of the inside.. I love it! I like the big "U" shaped dinette.. kinda like mine. And looks like you have a ton of storgage too! You can sleep 8! Heck.. I'll probably just sell mine and camp with you guys.

Best of all.. you can pack and unpack.. clean and fix up, etc.. without poping up!

Dar and I started checking everything out today, She started to clean everything, and I started making sure I became familiar with all the new "toys". You know, fridge, air conditioner, furnace, hot water heater, shower\toilet, and "waste dump". So Coolbreeze, even though the camper came with a sewer hose, it is not what we are used to seeing at the campgrounds, (it seems like a cheaper version and only stretches about 8 feet) so we will be needing something a little better and longer.

Everything else checked out and is working great.

for the sewer connection.. head to WAL-MART. I bought mine there. I like it because it actually comes in two sections.. So far I have only used one.. but when hooked together it is about 20 ft. Also the ends are attached and lock into other connections.. so there is no need for clamps. There's one called RHINO FLEX.. pretty nice.. mine is not RHINO FLEX.. but pretty much the same thing.. about $10 cheaper. By the com plete set.. all the conections you need in one box.

One thing you may want to look into is what I think they call a tight seal or something like that. In a nut shell is a seal of type that the hose connects to as it goes into the pipe at the cg. It creates a seal so that none so the fumes escape. Some CG require it. It is becoming more common. I got my at camping world but I would say that most camping supply places would have a version of what i'm talking about. I hope that makes sense. If not I can send a link to what i'm talking about or show you mine next time.

craig.. mine has a screw in connection at the CG sewer pipe. In fact it has threads for three (i think) different sizes of connections. Seems pretty secure.

I think that Craig is talking about is a sewer dounut. The sewer connection you have Chuck is fine.

All of these are good. Each Manufacture has their "version" but all basically do the same thing. Smile

I sure do hope to follow in your footsteps Dave. When you get that big rig for full-timing and sell me your gently used hybrid. I'll post something similar a year later.

We really have had a great camping year this year. We have managed to camp more this year than we ever have before. I don't know exactly how it happened, but I loved it.

Looking forward to much more camping in the HTT next year and may not be done yet this year weather permitting...

I found out if you make a good choice buying a camper, You can really enjoy it more then others who buy one and wish they had something other. We too enjoy our coach and still planing more short trips if weather stays half way decent still 2 months left in year.
