Check Camper in Winter
I keep my eye out each weekend and check the camper for any water links, unwanted animals, broken shower heads (thanks Alan for the heads up) etc...... does anyone else?
I did hear a sound that was not there before, and found the smoke alarm needed new battery. See even in the winter we have to maintain our equipment.
We have a few fixes before our first trip.

Re: Check Camper in Winter
Thats a good idea! I think we will go check ours this week out in storage. Problem is, the storage lot is on the side of a big hill. Hopefully the drive will be doable later in the week. I think we are going to warm up.
I was always concerned about rodents/pets entering the camper while in storage. So, far we have had no problems. However, our first TT was an R-Vision Trail Sport and it was sealed tightly. This Jayco has some areas that critters could potentially enter through..

I haven't really done a thorough check.. but that's a good idea. I have been in the camper a few times to get something .. a heater, a tool, etc. And I always kinda look around and look in cabinets. So far.. so good.
I brought my shower head and hose in the house back before the cold.

Re" Check Camper in Winter
I was in my TT last night. The fact that it is about 30' from my front door helps matters a lot. We got a WII for Christmas for the girls and they are using it for MANY hours on our den TV. We brought the flat screen in from the TT for them to use. I figure they have 3 months to get tired of it before the TV goes back into the TT.
Everything seemed to be fine. Turned on all the lights, took a look around.
