That may depend on what you would charge yourself for your time.

Hopefully Alan has had a chance to do some more work, with the nice weather we had.

Someone to finish the work!! Just Kidding. I don't think I will be ready for Misty River RV in time, but they do have a fall vintage camper rally.Richard wrote:Hey Alan, what all do you still need for your pup?

Hey Alan,
If the offer is still open, I think I do want those tanks from your old PUP. As well as any plumbing and such that's attached to them that you won't be using.

Re: My "new" old pop up
I wonder what ideals are in Richards head wanting your old tanks Alan?

Re: My "new" old pop up
I'm gonna fill them with grey-water and then dump them out Tim. It would be better than the "aquatainer leaning against the side of the camper" that I'm using now. Now other ideas may ensue, as I haven't seen the tanks yet.
Re: My "new" old pop up
So Allen, are the tanks still available? I'll be passing through Chattanooga late in the day on June 14th, or earlier on June 15th.
What brand is the parts camper? So I can start plotting my strategy.

Alan, if Richard comes down, make sure that you don't feed him a spam sandwich. He'll never leave. Remember, "Don't Feed The Bears", I mean Richard.

Re: My "new" old pop up
Just call me Richard, I actually have an old "parts" pop up out here. You can see if there are any parts you want.

New floor is almost complete. I have to take the top off next. I am going to need some extra hands. Guess I will have to hit up the neighbors

Re: My "new" old pop up
Hey Alan, I'll come down and give you a hand, but I need to know when. Let me know this weekend. I'm skilled at removing the top of a PUP, and would be happy to help.
Re: My "new" old pop up
Great, if your serious. You could scavage some parts from these old pups while you were here.

You should hop in with Richard and come on down. I'll fire up the grill and feed everyone

Re: My "new" old pop up
I'm thinking a night in Alan's TT in Camp Bivens Driveway may be in order here. Otherwise I'd spend too much of the day driving and not enough of the day helping Alan work on the PUP, much less salvaging any parts for myself.
My bride has indicated that if I'll use some of my Priority Club points to get a Motel room instead of camping, she will come along with the kids. I suspect there are antique stores in the area that she hasn't seen. (To me all antique stores are alike, she likely feels the same way about campgrounds.) I may do this, since I've built up enough points to get us a room without hurting my reserves too much.
How about Wednesday/Thursday or Thursday/Friday of next week Alan? Let me know at River Plantation this weekend.

Well I guess that I am out, can't afford a motel.
