I plan to be there Thursday, probadbly noonish.  You can give me a call if you want, but do it before you turn off of Rt 23 into the park.  

Once you get in there, phone service is spotty until you are in the campground itself.

I am going to try to get site #13 and I figured Richard would fit into #14 nicely. (it's a smaller site).

Ray and Karen will probably want #18 since it is a long site (their RV is about 40' long).

If you and the Kral's want to be kinda away from the kids, I would suggest  #15, 16 or 17.  These are in the center of the circle, but won't be right on all of us with the kids.  If you want to be close to the bath house, #10 is a great site, just past the building and #9 is just before.   #9 is handicap accessible.

Just in case anyone here on the forum needs it and doesn't have it, my phone # is 276-393-5004.

I talked to Megan today. She is the naturalist ranger and there are several things planned for the weekend we have our campout.

On Saturday, there will be a trade-fair and re-enactment of a Indian skirmish at the Block House that runs all day.

From 11 - 3 on Saturday is Kids' Fishing Day. They stock the creek with lots and lots of fish, but there are also lots and lots of kids. Richard brought his kids over last year or the year before.

I dont know about you all but i am soooooo ready for this trip.

Well I won't be camping with you guys but may travel up there to visit I also drove by Panther Creek today and the whole campground was closed. I hope they have good weather to complete it on time for their opening.

Well fianally got site reserved now to start cleaning and packing camper after her long winters nap

Just wandering if the park has a place for the kids to ride there bikes and i f anyone elses kids will have there bikes

Jb.. Donna will have all the answers for natural tunnel campground.. I think she is part owner. Lol

Also Donna.. Any grocery stores nearby? I am thinking about shopping after I set up.

Our girls will have their bikes. They can ride, but it is slightly hilly around the circle. They have hopefully finished the new playground. We were by there last month and it was about half ccompleted.

Chuck, there is a Food Country about 5 miles from the campground. That is where I shop when we are camp hosting.

I have reservations from the 24th until the 1st when we will move into the camphost spot. We should be there fairly early, 11 or 12ish.

Richard i bet if you asked chuck he would love to join you with all those kids then there will be two men there

Donna, what are the ages on the free fishing day?

JB, these are kids, not college girls. Chuck would not fare well in Jail, plus quite a few are martial arts students.

The age for fishing day is 12 and younger. If they are 13, I don't figure it will make much difference. We have 7 fishing rods, so an extra 5 of them. Your guys will be welcome to them.

jb and ray - make sure you bring yours. I am sure your guys will want to go.
