At Least One More Camping Trip

I would like to camp, at least, one more time this year... probably in November. anyone have any plans? Or anybody want to make some plans? I really don't want to camp alone... LOL

We usually camp each Thanksgiving, but we went ahead and winterized before we left Panther Creek. We have made plans to go see our son. We have never been to his place and he's lived there for three years, so he thinks it's time. We will spend Tues and Wed with him and go to my sisters in Cincinnati for Thanksgiving and stay a few days.

I did check the mileage and time situation on Cumberland Gap and Natural Tunnel. It will take you a little less than 2 hrs to get to CG and 2 hrs 1/2 to get to NT. It will take us about 1hr 40 mins to CG, 30 minutes to NT. Richard and Ray, it will take about 2 hrs to get to CG and about 45 mins to NT.

Just something to chew on while we plan the spring.

Cumberland gap doesn't take reservations... and the sites have electric, but no water.

We will likely camp again someplace Chuck, that is if I can steal another weekend from fix up the house duties.

since the government is open again.. I may try and go to big south fork. my favorite campground... and I haven't been there this year. or maybe fall creek falls.
