First camping trip for 2013?

I got out and about some yesterday and visited a couple of campgrounds. Just looking around and making note of my favorite sites.. so I can take advantage of the new TN State Park CG reservation system. They will ask you if you have a site preference.. and at our area SPs there are certain sites I like much better than others. Anyway.. getting into the CGs, yesterday.. really made me anxious to get going.

Do you have your first trip planned?.. or what will determine when and where you go first? Are you waiting for warm weather? Will you pull your rig out before April or May?

We always go to Eastman Campground when it opens the first weekend or so in March. It can't get here soon enough. She looks so lonely just sitting out there winterized

I looked back a few years.. it seems that I usually have a trip in March. I'll be watching the weather and looking forward to getting out and about. I don't mind the cool temps.. just not in the 30s.. and I don't like camping in the rain.

We were actually looking at this weekend. Pigeon Forge 10 day forcast doesn't look too shabby.

Wishful thinking most likely though.

We most likely will be camping in March. No plans for the year yet but will be looking at a few state parks local. Rather camp in warmer weather. We will be watching the weather as it gets close to March. Already getting excited to sat back and enjoy the out doors.
