gone missing at last camping trip

When we at last camping trip things happened. After we sat around fire with everyone things started to change my left eye start to blacken up from bottom up about 1/4 way up. next morning eye about 1/2 way up later that day lost total vision. Went to local ER they got me right in no sitting around waiting. After a number of Dr checks we were told to got a TN eye surgeons on Sunday morning so we pack up left early morning mr trimmer drove coach home his wife drove his coach Karen drove our saturn vue home. A we got home went to Dr office was really surprise he was waiting there for me. Check me said I had a detached retina need surgery right away monday morning I was having it done. He tell me everything went well time will tell before it was done total black not today not black but I can see light He says I should get some of my vision back, It may take a year to see better, but never like it was before. So no driving camper or car will miss you all greatly. Mr trimmer came or yesterday to mow can drive it either to much bouncing ,can't bend or lift things for a while sent my toy back to Lowe's they gladly took it back till I can use it, I did say I really wanted another one when we can enjoy it. I am sorry to hear this... I will be. remembering you in my prayers. I am sorry.. I didn't know u were having any problems at the campground. would have tried to help.

You mentioned to us while we were sitting under our awning on Saturday that you were having problems seeing out of your eye. I didn't think anything about it.....sorry. I have those days that my sight is blurry and the next day, it's better.

Hope you heal easily and quickly. My mom went through the eye surgery stuff and having to limit her activities for almost a year. She had a macular hole (a hole in the back of her eye).

She had surgery, did well and is now back to normal. It definitely did take her a while to heal up....almost a year.

Take care of it and follow the docs orders......TOTALLY! AND COMPLETELY!!!

Wow Crawford, what a huge thing to happen so suddenly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. That really sounds like a poor prognosis. I hope it turns out better.

I started seeing some light today Dr visit coming Wednesday hoping to get some good news

So sorry to hear about this Crawford. We had no idea this happened. glad you had it taken care of quickly so now it is all recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with you for a good recovery. Hope to see you camping again.
