Big Ridge SP BLUEGRASS NIGHT!

Looks like my next camping trip will be BIG RIDGE STATE PARK..  the bluegrass night this year is on Friday 8/16/13..  I will be camping thursday and friday nights.  Just checked the reservation site today.. still several camp sites available for the weekend.

On the third Friday in August, the annual Bluegrass Music Festival is held from 7pm to midnight,.. at BIG RIDGE STATE PARK. Ten local bands play bluegrass, country and old-time country music. The event is free.

Still several campsites available for this weekend at BIG RIDGE..  come enjoy the music and fun!
During the music night.. several vendors set up with good food, craft demonstrations, quilt making, etc, etc.

the wife and I will be there. Can't go until Friday though. We will be in campsite 20. I see check-in isn't until 4pm. We are taking Friday off and leaving early, so hopefully we can get in before 4. see ya there...

looking forward to seeing you at big ridge.. not sure how strict they are at big ridge.. but cove lake state park said they didn't mind campers checking in early... as long as the site was empty. you might call and ask them what happens if you show up early.
