Best route to Big Ridge SP

We're coming from Johnson City. I'm thinking the easiest route would be 81 to 40 to 640 in Knoxville... 640 to 75 north to TN 61 towards Norris. I think BRSP is on that road? Google maps showed a shorter route but this looks like bigger roads. Any thoughts?

This is in Chuck's area, so I am sure he will chime in to let you know.

yes this is the best route. highway 61 is kinda of winding, the last few miles... and a couple of hills.. but it's a nice state route. see you there!

Yes...see ya there. I just hope the rain holds off. I'm tired of camping in the rain! 

the weather forecast looks pretty good at this point. highs in the low 80s ...and down in the 60s at night. almost 0 percent chance of rain on Thursday and Friday. ... small chance on Saturday.

well.. the weather forecast keeps going back and forth.. shows they really don't know. Might rain some.. might not.  ... We'll have a good time either way. I am looking forward to camping. Only been out twice this year, so far.

word to the wise.... bring extra water hose. Dave Kral and I, ran out and bought a 50ft spare hose... after finding water hookups at big ridge are kinda weird. I have 75 ft of hose running to my camper. it's plenty.. but I am not sure 50 would have been enough.
