One of our members PMd me asking about AROUND THE POND RV PARK. I am not familiar with this CG. I did check their website. Maybe someone has camped or driven through and can offer more information.

I also found this review of the CG at http://www.rvparkreviews.com/. This reviewer camped there in May of this year (2010). They give it an 8 (out of 10) rating.

"This park is closer to the freeway than Baileyton RV Park and we had no trouble getting in with 40' MH and toad. They did have pull-through sites that could accommodate without disconnecting. Sites are gravel, well spaced with grass and young trees between. By the size of the trees it looks like a relatively new park. Our site was not very level due to where it was on the property, but most look acceptable. The owner (very nice) has built a very scenic fishing pond on the property, though the sites are not waterfront. There was some noise off a nearby road, but it quieted down later in the night (which was Saturday). Freeway noise did not seem an issue. We camped here in a Motorhome."

I've never camped there, nor driven through, but it should be close enough for either Tim or Richard to take a quick peek to see what it looks like. Come on guys, who wants to "volunteer"?

We drove by there today on the interstate and I saw the sign, but we were looking at a 9 pm ETA to the house, so we didn't stop.

Mr Trimmer, that is great. Keep us up dated on the campground thoughts. Also how long has the campground not been in operation. So you would like to see this campground of yours look something like "Around the pond RV park" or how they operate.
