Yes, that is a good start. Just try to customize it to fit your taste.

Here's a link to a thorough RV checklist I found while searching for RV Logbook templates.

Re: Camper Log Book
We did a camping journal our first year of camping. I made it and it got to be a hassle as it was 2 pages long. I am going to make one that is more user friendly this year.
For me, I really don't care about the cost of gas for the trip. Maybe I will jot down the mileage though. I like to be able to look at my journal at a later date and know everything I need to know about the campground. The pros and cons. Sites to book and sites to stay away from. I want to be able to look at the journal and know if I want to go back or not. Whats the shortcomings. What's the highlights. Is there anything near the campground that makes it standout, etc. And, I want to have complete info in case someone is looking for feedback on a forum for the campground. It's also nice to be able to jot down anything special you would like to remember about the trip.. anything neat the kids did, etc.
I really like Chuck's website with pictures and reviews. I think I am going to do that for our family trips this year....

Re: Camper Log Book
OK, I've put together a logbook page that prints two to an 8 1/2 x 11 page. I plan to cut mine and bind in an 8.5 x 5.5 notebook. It's setup to bind on the left. How do I post it so everyone can see it? Download it? Print and use it? I have it in microsoft word format, as well as in PDF Acrobat format. Chuck, HELP?
Re: Camper Log Book
Richard, you are a handy person to have around. That's great and thanks for sharing. If your business is better, you may not be able to do stuff like this, so.......
might be better for us if business is a little lacking!! Just kidding. Glad you did have the time and it does look great.

Re: Camper Log Book
In away this looks like one of my trucking log books, only it doesn't have a graph grid to log the hrs. I guess it looks my like a DVIR(daily vehicle inspection report)

coolbreeze1 wrote:Well I was thinking of it in a different way. If you buy me hot dogs, I'd put on weight and it would make you look thinner.Richard wrote:coolbreeze1 wrote:Richard wrote:Maybe Chuck could put the logo on them and sell them two for $3.00 and get a second hot dog. Or maybe upgrade to a sasauge dog.
Now, your giving away your ideals. I thought that you would sell the ideal to him.
Special price to Chuck would be just your expenses to the RV show javascript:emoticonp('')

Remember to suspect my motives. If Chuck loses 50 Lbs, I'll feel like I need to lose at least 20 or 30 and still will be lots bigger than him. If I can help him buy hot dogs, I don't have to worry.

Great Idea
I usually check on line for a campground I want to visit and see. I get a map off line or at the campground; go around and check out what sites are appealing. If we don't like it the map goes in my yucky section; if we like it; it gets put in that clear plastic paper saver holders with the sites marked and any other stuff of the campground and area.

I like the idea of a "yucky" section. You 99 year old (accoring to your profile) Georga folks know how to sort them out!!!
I may insert a log-sheet back-side-up in the printer and print a map on the back. I'll use a big sharpie marker for the "Yucky" designation.

Re: Camper Log Book
If anyone else wants the Microsoft Word version, just PM your e-mail address to me.
I gave up on finding a binder with two holes on the short side of the sheet for 8.5 by 5.5 paper. I'm putting the sheets in a regular 8.5 x 11 three ring notebook with two trips to the page. The pages are already shifted to the left side of the page to allow for hole punching. I'm putting Caroline, my 9 year old, in charge of the notebook.
