Just as a reminder there is a car show the weekend of 4-19, 4-20, 4-21 in town and alot of people will stay thru the next weekend (our weekend) for they dont have to fight all the traffic leaving town.
I believe Chuck said they would only hold our spots for about a week for we could be in the same area. And if you make a reservation and can't make it they will give you a FULL refund if you cancel 72 or more ahead of your date of arrival.

FYI - they have updated rates for different times of the season now, not sure when they changed it. I don't think it will interfere with this particular trip, just wanted to give a heads up. Rates

Edit: I would love to make it on this trip to meet everyone but we are due with our second child a couple weeks before this trip. I think that will be too soon Crying or Very sad

looks like they have raised the rate by 50 cents.. since I posted the rates back in November.. My site was $40.59 per night (tax, title, out the door).. I had to pay $36.50.. because that area is 50 amp accessible. Some of the older (30 amp only) sites are $33.50.

they do offer a Good Sam discount (but I am not a member).

Yeah, we waited until ours were 4 months old before they went for the Thanksgiving trip. We had a pup with Elora and a hybrid with Jayda. They both bathed in our lobster pot!! It was cool, well, really it was cold for at least one day of both trips to the beach.

Wish you could join us, too. Maybe you could drop by for an afternoon as long as the baby arrives on time.

Gregg.. we usually only have a kick off group event.. but others may "pop up" during the summer and fall. We tried having several planned events each year.. but it didn't work out. Now people will just post under "I'm Camping Here".. and sometimes others will join them. A couple of years ago one of our best trips started like this when two of us posted that we were gonna be at COVE LAKE SP.. six or seven campers ended up going.

I love this camping club, you guys are the best. I'm not going to rehash my issues with River Plantation. Too much said already. I hope you understand that I'm sitting this one out (so it is not awkward). I'll be first in line to join everyone at the next campground on the next trip. Meanwhile I'm working on getting my house ready to sell. I need to move down a lot to stop going backward financially, so I'll be plenty busy.
