Cove Lake March-2012

Pulled the camper up to Cove Lake this weekend.. Just a quick one nighter, to try things out.

Congrats on your maiden voyage Chuck and Max! Sure is a nice looking trailer Max sure is a handsome feller How did the trailer tow Chuck? How full was the campground? We wanted to go this weekend but the rain scared us away . Looking foward to townsend!

The camper tows very much like my JAYCO. This one is about 4 feet longer and weighs about 600 lbs more. I really can't tell any difference pulling it.. so I am happy. I do like the layout much better.. mostly the walk around queen bed in the front and the bigger bathroom with the stand up shower.

I was gonna go on Friday.. but when I got home from work and started to hitch up.. a pretty substantial thunderstorm hit. So I stayed home. Saturday I was bound and determined to do something. I hitched up and was at Cove Lake by about 2:30p. It stormed about 3:30.. even had some marble sized hail. Then it cleared up and was a beautiful evening.

I mostly just wanted to do something with the camper.. so I did.

Looking forward to a more substantial outing, with friends, at MISTY RIVER in a couple of weeks.

and.. surprisingly.. there was a pretty good crowd at COVE LAKE.. I would say 80-90% full. Saturday was the last day for the "off season" rate.. I camped for $10.
