Cove Lake speaks for itself, love this state park. Fishing is close, bike riding, nature walk, rent boats, swimming pool, volley ball, basketball, horse shoes and great camp sites.

Cove Lake is indeed great, and really nice Ranger-led programs for the kids in the summer. Just watch where you step when the geese are around. And make sure the kids do not track it into the camper!

COVE LAKE STATE PARK is home to a great BBQ Restaurant.. Rickard Ridge BBQ at Cove Lake is located near the entrance to the park.. and just a short distyance from the campground.

Hours of operation:
Monday - Thursday 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday & Saturday 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Sunday 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Restaurant features BBQ pork, Ribs, Chicken, Black Angus Burgers, and Catfish. Combo platters, sandwiches, appetizers, fresh salads, and desserts are also offered daily. Group take-out specials, catering, and wedding packages are also available. For more information please call 423-907-8202.

We have ate at Richard Ridge many times while camping or if we were in town.
I thought I saw a map with measurements for each camp site from Cove Lake somewhere.
