I have some great recipes, just have to find them. Craig makes a breakfast dish that is so good. Also, a garlic potato recipe that is so good. And, we have a good good desert recipes as well.
One of our favorites to make are donuts.

I'm going to have to actually heat my Dutch Oven up and use it, instead of just talking about it.
Happycamper, Post those recipes, including how many coals top and bottom for how long.

Here's a link to a good Dutch Oven site. It lists lots of nifty "extras" you can get.
http://www.dutchovendude.com/dutch-oven-cooking-tools.shtml
As the site says... "A dutch oven is just the first step on this journey you've begun into the land of outdoors cooking. You've now got Birthday and Christmas presents lined up for the next few years if you don't get in too much of a hurry. There are a few tools you really should have for safety and basic cooking, but the rest can be acquired over time."

I did opt for combo night, but that's another thread. This one is about Dutch Ovens in general.
Re: HappyCamper's Dutch Oven Recipes from May of 2006
Well, one can see how the confusion started. You have two threads going.
