Rock Island State Park
We usually stay here 1-2 times a year since it is 15 minutes from the house. We come here for the first trip of the year so if we need anything we can go get it. It is shady and the spots are nice. You have to drive to the water at the lake ( bottom of a big hill or gorge). The one plus for this park is they take reservations, so if anyone is interested let me know?

Ok, Betty, I need a mileage range on you guys. Craig says he has wanderlust and doesn't want to go unless the campground is far enough away. Now here you are saying that the campgrounds need to be closer. So what's the story. Inquiring minds want to know. At least _________ Miles but no more than ____________ miles?

Leave it to Richard to get to the bottom of these important questions.
