New Vol Camper
Moved from Michigan 8 years ago and Love Tennessee. Popped up for the first 5 years and upgraded to a SolAir 213X Hybrid in May . Two children 17 and 12 both have a passion for camping , hiking and being active in the outdoors. Wife and I love to fish hike family time . Hopefully this wasn't too overly boring. Joined this site in looking fwd to meeting some fellow campers and learning about those" best kept secret " campgrounds. Not everyone has the same idea of a great campground but we enjoy going to different ones every trip. Some faves are Hornsby Hollow, K O A in townsend. Standing Stone State Park and Cumberland Falls

Also.. look at our fall group camping event at PANTHER CREEK STATE PARK.. Hope to meet you guys in person soon!
I prefer state parks.. my favs are COVE LAKE and INDIAN MOUNTAIN. My all-time fav is probably BANDY CREEK campground at Big South Fork near Oneida, TN.

Welcome from the Hutchinson's in Virginia. We don't do a lot of camping in the Knoxville area since we are about 3 hours away. We do attend the group trips if we can.
Our favorite campgrounds are all over the eastern seaboard. We love Natural Tunnel SP in VA, about 20 miles north of Kingsport, TN. We also are fans of Hunting Island, SC, Gulf State Park, AL; Point Lookout, MD; Jellystone in Luray, VA; Ginny B in Foster, RI; and Ne're Family Campground in Old Orchard Beach, ME.
We are glad to have you aboard and, like Chuck said, come join us for our fall campout at Panther Creek SP in October.
