Memorial Day Camping 2013

Well, the holiday weekend is almost gone and it has been a crazy one here at Natural Tunnel. It has been packed the entire weekend. We have sold in excess of 50 bags of ice and over 45 bundles of firewood. Butch and I have both packed ice bags and Butch has hauled firewood. Shew, it's been tiring.

Last night, our son and his girlfriend came in from Louisville and had dinner (steak, fried potatoes, zucchini) and then this afternoon, my sister and brother-in-law from Ohio came in and my parents, brother and sister-in-law, nephew and his girlfriend, my nephew's wife and their 3 kids came for dinner. Burgers, dogs, baked beans, potato salad, fried squash, zucchini and onions, and some kind of dessert (which was gone before I got finished eating my dinner).

It's been fun, but sure has been wild.

Most of the time it is, but holiday weekends are the pits!! I'm glad we won't be hosting anywhere for July 4th weekend, nor Labor Day.
