Kim.. I want to come.. Right now things are on hold.. I apparently hurt my back this weekend (somehow).. and DR has me off work til Monday. It hurts pretty bad.. never had this kinda of pain before or felt this helpless. I cant even bend over and get something out of the lower kitchen cabinets.
anyway.. depending on my back situation... I want to go to the RV show. what times are you gonna be there saturday?
Re: KNOXVILLE RV SHOW Jan 11-13
we will be there around 2pm...so sorry about your back Chuck, I know how bad it hurts. Standing, walkingm stepping up and down in travel trailers might not be such a good idea for your back. Might be better just to take muscle relaxers and sit or lay around the house. I sure do hope you feel better...

yea.. thats kind of confusing.. I think the "code" has already been applied and its referring to the $1 off. I am not sure about going (because of the back problems).. so I will just have to pay an extra $1 at the door.. if I go.Darcamper wrote:

The RV show was just "OK" last year.. but it beats the heck outta sitting at home.. I have been doing that all week.
Re: KNOXVILLE RV SHOW Jan 11-13
anybody going today? I am so bored sitting at home.. but kinda leery about doing too much. If my back goes out again.. not sure I could drive home from Sevierville.

we just got back from show they had a lot of campers there some deals for sure. Looked a A Class no deals in that for sure also wounder why they bring the coaches of 250,000 and above. I know some start at around 90,000 and up but those never seem to be at shows.

We walked through a few to see how the other half lives My wife who only went because I wanted to, made my day by saying there wasn't anything there that made her want something different.
With her neuropathy we noted that everything including the travel trailers seemed to be tall and require more steps to enter. There was even an open range fiver that had six steps to enter then two more levels inside to either the living or bedroom area.
Units with electric fireplaces seemed abundant too.
We got some swag from a few booths and a nice dinner on the way home so it was a good afternoon in my book.

We had a great time at the show saturday, boy there were a ton of units compared to last year..I dont know how they fit them all in, it was wall to wall. I would have liked to see some rv accessory vendors selling special priced accessories though..camping world was there but didnt see what they were selling, might have been only memberships....It was fun to go in a fancy new airstream, never have dont that...boy their expensive and remind you of being inside an airplane, very different. There were a couple of rv manufactures I didnt recognize, like heartland, that were interesting to look at. I noticed that all the rigs had prices on them except for buddy gregg's, they just had per month prices...all in all I think it was a great show compared to last year.
