Pigeon Forge KOA Site 18
We spent Thursday through Saturday on site 18 at the KOA in Pigeon Forge for a quick getaway before school starts.
We had a good time on the go cart track and spent the evening at Dollywood. This has always been our favorite PF campground if we want to be in the middle of everything. This time around our campground experience was only so - so and will probably try somewhere else if we want to be in Pigeon Forge.
Here is a picture of a local that had my boys mesmerised while they were eating breakfast.

As I have stated on here several times, my favorite place IN PF is Pine Mountain. It's really close to the KOA, about 2 blocks away, so you are in the MIDDLE of things. Give it a try next time. I think the price is about the same.

I forgot about that one. We had looked at it a year or two ago when we stayed at the adjacent hotel for a mariage retreat. Lack of shade struck it off the list. But, I imagine a Fall or Spring trip that still allows them to use the hotel's pool would be nice.

Nice pic of the locals... Looks like a nice place, we'll have to check Pine Mtn. out sometime. Thanks
