We had a great time! For the most part,.. the weather was ok,.. very hot during the day.. Thank God for a camper with air conditioning,.. making it possible to sleep comfortably at night.

On Saturday night we all gathered at Don and Lisa's campsite for "Pie Iron and Dutch Oven" night. We had a buffet of good things to put in your pie iron.. like chicken and beef,.. mozerella and cheddar cheese, onions.. etc. Darlene made her famous (and delicious) homemade potato salad.. and chef Richard treated us to his Dutch Oven smothered potatoes. The "pièce de résistance" was Don's dutch oven Chocolate/Cherry Suprise Cake.. and homemade ice cream.

My only disappointment was that Alan was not able to make it.

Great pics. Chuck. So glad we were invited to stay and join in the fun and food. I am really looking forward to more trips with this group of fun loving friends. That is if my restoration goes as planned. Thanks again.

What are you restoring Seymour? Is it that Shasta in your pic? I myself am working on an old Coleman Valley Forge Pop Up. My dream is to tackle an old Airstream one day!!
