"Miss Danger" is now known as "The Clark Family Clubhouse"

Well, we spend the last two nights in the camper, and the kids have decided that it shouldn't be called Miss Danger anymore. The vote was to change the name to "The Clark Family Clubhouse". The stuffed ostrich mascot also got a name, "Captain Clyde Clark". Just want to keep everyone posted on the progress.

The thermostat for the furnace will get moved today. All I have to do is drill a hole for the wires on the "kitchen-side" of the dinette bench and move the thermostat. It's just remove a screw, and then disconnect/re-connect the red and white wires in the right place. I always mark such things with a sharpie marker before I take them loose.

The kids have enjoyed sleeping in the camper, but for some reason think it's a good idea to sleep in their own beds and go to bed early tonight on Dec 24th. Go figure. I tried to read Chuck's post about "Christmas in the camper", but they seem to have other plans.

Making a mental note not to call your pop-up "Miss Danger" around your kids.

Caroline will set you straight if you forget. I'm not throwing away the Miss Danger nametags just yet. I'd like to hit Dave's 3 trip benchmark before I declare her safe. I'm just calling it Clark Family Clubhouse to please the kids and improve my attitude.

Yes, I know she will set me straight about the name. She already told me how to pronounce her name properly. However, I may slip up at it again.

Don't sweat it if you do. She never gets tired of being bossy. It's a good thing for her that she does equal amounts of the cute and sweet thing.

Richard you have been camping the hole time. Good for you, has the weather been holding up.
Your kids has it made...Their right no more Miss Danger after two nights and no issues, that is great...

I guess the snow was the test for the pop-up, however you need to complete 3 trips without a breakdown

This will be the first trip beyond camp driveway. It will be interesting to see if the lift still works after being banged around a bit on the trip over to Douglas Dam and the Dam Store.

The DAM pictures are in the pictures from my trip thread. I certainly had a nice DAM meal while I was there. We didn't see any DAM bears either. Alan, you need to join us on a DAM trip next time.
