Good Sam Clubs
Ever belong to a "Good Sam Club".. ever been camping with them or around them? I am sure there are some nice folks in the GS groups.. but I talked to some last year at the RV show.. and got the feeling that they really didn't want my little 20 foot trailer in the group. They told me there were "other" groups with lots of members like me. Not sure what "like me" is about. LOL

Re: Good Sam Clubs
Well I belong to GS. I only get the discount at a few campgrounds. I signed up to be a product tester but have never been chosen. I like their magazine but probably want renew when my membership expires.
I haven't a clue about what they are talking about you Chuck

well.. i am also a member of GS.. for the discount stuff.. but I am talking about their groups who camp together. They have different chapters around the country. There is at least one in the Knoxville area.. it's called the K-Town Sams.

Holy cow, how rude was that! Craig joined last year when we arrived at the James Island County Park in Charleston when they encouraged him to do so to get a lower site rate.

Re: Good Sam Clubs
I think you guys are confusing this,, I am not talking about joining the GOOD SAM club for discounts.. I am talking about their local camping clubs.. like the K-Town Sams in Knoxville.
Re: Good Sam Clubs
Sorry, I knew what you meant, but got a bit sidetracked by their rudeness to you. The Good Sams group up here is the Overmountain club. I honestly never checked them out, but I don't think I will after hearing that.

I have meet several member of the K-Town Sams club and was told to check on the other charters. They even showed me photos and everything, but when they asked if I had a Class A, I said no a POP UP. They left me standing.....

LOL, I wonder what they would say when I pulled in with three kids and the Clark Family Clubhouse. I may join just to see. I'll just use discression when I describe my rig. I did change the oil in my PUP last year, the cooking oil!
