Difference between FINISHED and COMPLETE

Post  gwtriker on Tue Nov 20, 2012 6:20 pm

Finished and Complete: No English dictionary has been able to explain adequately the difference between the two words.

Some people say there is no difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED.

My grandpa had the best answer ......

When you marry the right woman, you are COMPLETE.

And when you marry the wrong woman, you are FINISHED.

And when the right woman catches you with the wrong woman, you are COMPLETELY FINISHED!
