Is there an RV show anyplace in our area this year?

It would be great to see y'all. If there is one, I'd like to go.

I've been looking, nothing so far local.

Just saw a RV show mentioned on facebook. It is in Sevierville @ Wilderness of the Smokies. I believe the date is Jan 6-8.

It would be great to get together for it, coolbreeze. Anyone interested?

I don't think I can afford to spend the night at Wilderness of the Smokies since it costs a lot.

Well, I went to their website and a room for Saturday night, Jan 7 is $109 for 4 of us! That includes the waterpark, so it's not as bad as I thought.

There is a 2 bedroom that sleeps 10 for $259 and a 3 bedroom that sleeps 15 for $369 - so I guess it's about $25 per night, per person.

We might even consider this - but not sure yet.

I can go on Sunday the 8th. I'll be out of town (work trip) on Friday and Saturday.

Just mentioned it to the 'boss' and was suprised that she may be interested in going.

We stayed at the Wilderness in late Spring and had a blast. Yes it is expensive, expecially if you stay on site and eat at their resteraunts. We ate off site & found a good deal through their facebook site.

The waterparks are something else though.

This seems to be a very poorly planned event.. almost NO advertisement or information available. On the website (?http://rvexpo.net/site/knoxville-rv-super-show/) they list tickets at $6 each. However on the "exhibitors" link.. they don't list any.

If they do have a show this week.. I wonder what it will be

There is a RV show ex 407 off 40 the baseball game lot Smokey's ball park. Just left there a lot of TT,5 wheels, about 10 class A it's going on till Sunday all day and free.

That show was just a camping world show.

So but it was free

yes.. I saw the commercial.. kinda like going to the sales lot.. just in the ballpark.

I not sure that's right every time we went most are locked on lot and sales people wanted to go with you. These all were unlock and many coaches had genny's running and others had heaters on. All compartments were unlocked on all units and the sale prices during show was substantial.

Thats not really what I meant.. At a "real" camping show.. lots of different dealers and product lines. Different campgrounds usually set up, etc.

But if you had a good time.. thats fine.
