July 5th thru the 8th

We plan on being at River Plantation July 5th thru the 8th for their 4th of July weekend celebration. We may go somewhere else for the first part of the week just dont know yet????

Boy hope you have date locked in most of time that time of year is book solid.

I made them last year, so they are locked in. I will be in site 440.

Plans have changed around for us just a little, we are going to try to get a spot at Chester Frost Park on 6-24-12 and stay there untill 7-8-12. This is providing we can get a lake side slot there. If I can we will be there the entire time and if I can not get a site there we will continue on to River Plantation for our original dates that I have reserved. If we do get lucky at Chester Frost Park I will cancel my reservation at River Plantation. This is what I dont like about places where they do not accept reservations, you never know if you will get a place or not and its even worse around a holiday and if you have more than 1 family going. I feel thats how they can make more money is they get you to come in earlier just to have a place.

And if we can not get a site on 6-24-12 at Chester Frost Park we will go to Fall Creek Falls and stay there untill its time for us to go to River Plantation.

Where ever we end up at we plan to have fun !! Its just hard sometimes trying to get there !!

Well after a crazy weekend trying to get a place on the lake I finally did, Site 189. We will be down there untill 7-8-2012. Now comes the easy part of calling River Plantation to cancel my spot up there.
