Lake Levels - NORRIS and others

TVA raises and lowers the level of Norris lake.. and sometimes the level is really low. One of the CGs I like (Big Ridge) sits on Norris Lake.. So I was trying to find out if the water was up or down.. I found this website that monitors conditions of major lakes and rivers in most every state.

Chuck I see you found a nice site there but I wanted you to know the water is down right now looks about 15 feet lower than normal. We just camped there this weekend and we also live about 10 minutes from there

David.. a couple of us were planning a BIG RIDGE trip this weekend.. but other things got in the way. Kinda glad I didnt go.. I hate camping in the rain.

Thanks for the tip on the water level.. it really isnt very pretty when its that low.
