It seems that Fleetwood/Coleman is shutting down the camping trailier Mfg. Unit. http://rvdailyreport.com/news/ctl/articleview/mid/370/articleid/10335/blackstreet-capital-shuts-down-coleman-operation
That's a shame, as I like their campers. I wonder if parts will get scarce, and if this will hurt re-sale value of units already out there?

You are right, as a matter of fact they shut down immediently after I purchased our trailer. I had to take it in for some warranty work not long after I bought it and Camping World told me that my warranty was voided. Fortunately they went ahead and did the work themselves.

Yes Chuck, Fleetwood bought use of the Coleman name and re-started production. Here's today's story from the local paper where the plant is located. (Daily American in Somerset, PA) http://www.dailyamerican.com/articles/2011/01/21/news/local/news081.txt

Sad to hear that another company is closing because of this recession. Maybe they will find someone else to restart the company in the future.
