Jellystone in Gatlinburg Empty Jellystone in Gatlinburg

I am sitting in front of my camper under the awning at Jellystone, a trip me and the family put together on the spur of the moment. I have heard some of you guys talk about this place so I was curious. It is a neat place, the guy who owns it is a really nice fellow and keeps this place immaculate. The bath houses are some of the cleanest and nicest I've ever seen. But man is it tight in here. Tey do not allow campers to come in here without an escort, and without it I am not sure I could have gotten my rig in this site. The pool is nice and they have a good little putt-putt course here (you can't come to Gatlinburg and not play putt-putt). Large shade trres cover almost all the sites. He has put a lot of really nice campground in a small space. I do with the main roads in the cg were paved( my oldest daughter is learning to ride a bike and gravels are a little tough for her). The internet service here is spotty at best (I am actually piggybacking of the wi-fi of the next campground over). There is a cool trail here that is rated moderate. All in all a definate do-over, however my wife is in love with the Smokey Bear cg the club stayed in just a mile down the road from here. That's the beauty of camping, discovering all the neat different places. Looking forward to River Plantation next week and eating a bunch of iron pies or something!!
