First trip of the new year

We just couldn't wait any longer. We are going to Riverpark Campground this weekend. It's kind of between Jonesborough and Erwin on old state route 81. It's a pretty nice campground right on the Nolichucky River. We went there in late November and it got down into the mid 20's. It's supposed to rain a little Friday afternoon but clear up later that evening. We'll build a campfire, pop the top on a cool beverage and fire up the grill and all will be good with the world.   C'mon down!

Sounds like a nice place to add to our "Future places to camp" list. Like being next to the river...

I'm hoping to finish moving this weekend. Your plans sure sound better.
