Grilled Green Tomatoes w/Cajun Dressing

I made these at home for our 4th of July cookout and they were a huge success. Thought I would share with y'all!!

Grilled Green Tomatoes w/Cajun Dressing

3-4 large green tomatoes
1 tbsp canola oil
Cajun Blackening spice
1/2 tsp kosher salt

Cut tomatoes into 1/2 inch thick slices. Coat with the oil and sprinkle with the
cajun spice.
Place slices on a grill screen on a grill that is 400-450 degrees. Grill about 6 minutes per side. Serve with a dollop of the dressing that follows.

Dressing:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup red hot sauce

Mix together until well blended. Serve a dollop on tomato slices.

Don, what is "spour" cream? Never heard of it, but the recipe sounds wonderful.

I'll have to share this one with my bride when I get home from Arizona. This will be right up her alley. (She has a Cajun family tree, and loves grilled veggies too.)

Fixed the dressing part of the recipe. I figured the "spour cream" would be too hard to find so I changed it to mayo and sour cream! LOL!!!!
