Anchors Down - Dandridge TN
It's been a slow season for us with only one trip so far this year. We decided to take a road trip today and check out a few campgrounds the DW found via Facebook. Our favorite stop of the trip was Anchors Down in Dandridge. They just opened this year on the lake. Honestly, this is the first time I thought 'resort' in a campground name actually fit. Its pretty large & they offer golf cart rentals. I imagine they would be handy since it is would be quite a walk up to the top levels from the shore. Maybe this will get us motivated to get a trip in before school starts up again. We also have a new tow vehicle I have to get setup but I'll post about that once I get it done.

Re: Anchors Down - Dandridge TN
We stayed in a signature site back in April.
Pros: Immaculant grounds/buildings, staff is very nice, owner came by a few times to see if everything OK, Wifi is the best I have ever had anywhere, fireplaces, good water/electric, views.
Cons: Price(signature site $69), no shade unless on top sites, limited cable(for price should have 50+channels IMO),when crowded some sites would be hard to back a big rig into(have 40' fiver), not alot of space between sites.
Overall we liked it, but didn't feel it was worth the price.
