33ft fifth wheel for sell

I have decided to put my 5'er up for sale. It is a 2008 Crossroads 30sk. It has 3 slide outs and has a 10 gallon hot water heater, that operates both on gas or electric. It has a gas stove/oven and microwave. Master bed room has a queen size bed and has a walk in closet. There is plenty of cabinet storage.

I have not posted this to craigslist yet, but will so by Monday. If anyone on this board helps sell it, for the asking price, I will give you $250 for your trouble.

Haven't heard anything from you (Cool) in awhile.. Kinda hope you haven't sold your 5th wheel.. and will be able to camp next season. But.. if you really need to move it.. I hope you have found a buyer. Let us know how you are doing.

Thanks for asking Chuck. I haven't sold it yet, probably hold onto it until the spring. I have had one guy come by but wants it for about 4k lower than I am asking. Mom is doing ok, but can't be left by herself.

Tim, Being i'm in Colorado and my 5ver is in TN at one point I looked into selling. I contacted multiple camping dealers around. Needless to say I was blow away and the theft. NADA on my Cardinal is 25-28k. The best offer I received was 13k. It was all I could do to not give the dealers a piece of my mind. I was told the best they could re-sell my Cardinal for was 15k. I kindly replied really, so tell my why you don't have anything of the same age and size for under 20k. I was hung up on. Surprise Surprise. Bascially the dealers want to profit 10k per unit or more. Fortunatley we are in a situation where we don't have to sell our 5ver. We were going to sell and rebuy in a few years . But now we are going to get a truck in the coming months and get pull or 5ver the 1400 miles our here and use her here. No need to get her out here this winter since I hear that Colorado had pretty cold snowy winters.

Chuck, thanks for asking. I guess this is the best place as any to bring you up to date.

The company I worked for in Knoxville was doing some pretty unethical things so I began looking and putting feelers out there for work. Through a chain of events we moved out to Denver Colorado about 5 months ago. I must admit we love it out here . Very different but in a good way. In Jan 2012 my truck was stolen in Knoxville. It was never recovered. It was sad because I purchased the truck new and when it was stolen it had 226,000 miles on it. Insurance screwed me so I was not able to replace the truck. After Jennifer's last back surgery (#4) she has not worked since and probably never will. She had gone through Disability with SS and was approved recently so that does make her feel a little better. Our 5ver is in TN and last time I checked a Subaru is not the best tow vehicle. In the next 6 months I will be shopping for a truck. I'm not looking new. I just so see the value in a 50k truck. Once I get a truck we will get our 5ver and bring her out to Colorado. Different envioronmnet out here but we are looking forward to having her here to use.

I was one of those asking about you. We were all wondering at our 2012 spring camping trip where you had gotten to. Glad to hear that you are still "alive and kicking", even though you are kicking in Colorado!

Hope you will continue to like living there once winter has really set in. Since that is right in the middle of the country, you should be able to camp all over. If we head that way sometime in the next few years, we may look you up.

Yes I'm a snow skier at heart so very much looking forward to hitting the slopes. Definitely ready also on getting a truck to get my 5th wheel out here. In driving around and looking there seems to be a lot of options here. For some crazy reason here people don't camp much in the winter. According to what we can find out average snow fall dips around 58". So far we have had 8" here. None the less I am missing camping and ready to get back into it.

So far, we've had about 10" here in Norton this year. That came from Hurricane Sandy and her collision with the winter weather system in October. My girls had a blast and finally got to use their sled that they got last year. Looking for another couple of GOOD snows and a few small ones, but definitely want to keep the power on.

Hope you get your snow and can enjoy the skiing. Haven't done it in years and now my bones are too easy to break and I don't bounce like I used to.
