CD Player in our HTT
I was wondering what would be the easiest way to install a AM/FM-CD player in our HTT??? Anyone have any good suggestions? Anyone have any pix of cool mods to share so we may get some ideas? Thanks!

The EASIEST way would be to buy a boom box type and just carry it along with you and take it inside or outside, power or battery.
Now, if you are wanting to actually install one in there that will run off your battery so you can use it if you don't have electric, you need to get one that will run on DC current (car type) and find some place to install it. You will need to run power to it and probably an antenna, too. If you camp outside the regular grid (forest, mountains) that don't get good radio reception, the antenna will be pretty important.
Ours came with one and it had speakers outside, so we use it a lot. If we didn't have one already installed, I would probably just use a boom box type.

Re: CD Player in our HTT
is there any kind of audio system in your HTT now?
My camper has an AM/FM CD player.. with an aux input. I have a little $30 mp3 player (I got for Christmas). I have about 400-500 songs on it. It sounds pretty good plugged into the camper's audio system.

Thanks Donna, I have a small clock radio I use, I like to have a speaker for the outside.
Thanks Chuck I do bring my Ipod and plug it into the cooler that has two speakers on the side. I also take it when we rent a boat to go fishing. It works ok.
I think it's more to do with having a speaker on the outside of the camper. I not sure what I will do.

funny you would mention that.. this camper has outside speakers. there's a switch on the audio system for inside or outside speakers.. or both.Darcamper wrote:I think it's more to do with having a speaker on the outside of the camper. I not sure what I will do.
