Yes Sir we caught these Monday.
They have all of the gates open at Cheatham Dam close to where I live and a small creek empties into it below the dam....
The Stripe and Crappie hit about every cast.
The kids are on break so we are going in the morning to Elk Harbor and check out a campground that has a dock on a 500 acre lake that is supposed to be full of Crappie.

What were they hitting? I work near the Holston and French Broad rivers here in Knoxville. There are stripes to be caught here after work when I get the chance...

Thanks for the info. I've used the Chartreuse but rarely get minnows for no other reason than I just haven't bought them...
Thanks again!

OK, so how many did you catch "illegally"???
Re: Cheatham Dam Stripe
To be honest with ya we really didn't keep count of the ones that didn't measure, but my sons arm is sore he from casting and reeling...Alot of smaller fish where caught but thrown back due to not measuring up..I've always taught him to follow the rules and not be to judgmental of those we saw keeping small ( illegal size) fish. I've got a smart 10 year old that loves and respects the outdoors.
