New Vinyl Floor in HTT
We would like to put down a new vinyl floor in our HTT. Has anyone ever did this and if so did you remove the cabinets.
I don't think we would need to remove the cabinets, maybe adding trim around the floor walls would give it a clean look.

I wouldn't remove the cabinets, I would just trim with quarter round

I wouldn't take the cabinets out unless someone paid me a million dollars! I would also.. probably consider putting the new flooring on top of the old.. unless its in really bad shape.

My mom had vinyl "tile" in her kitchen that comes in various sizes at home depot. It looks just like ceramic tile when its on the floor.

The camper has those 12x12 squares that stick to the floor. They were laid over the vinyl that was already in the camper (before we purchased). So would removing both layers of vinyl be better then just adding more on top?
Alan you right about just adding the quarter round, because right now it does not even have it. That would give it a more finished look.

Well if it has one other layer on the original, I would just pull it all up and replace. Ever thought of putting in pergo wood flooring?

the original linoleum would'nt be too difficult to take up. I cut a piece out in my TT bathroom.. it came up real easy. I don't think they use much (if any) adhesive. The linoleum is put down in one piece before any walls or anything are added.. so its held down mostly by the walls, cabinets, etc etc.
Those stick on tiles.. might be more of a problem.
