Nights left camping?

Post  coolbreeze1 on Fri Oct 22, 2010 8:55 pm

How many more nights will you camp in 2010? Have you already closed up your camper for the year?

I have one more trip for the year before I plan on closing things up for the year.

Crawford, Richard. You didn't read the question. It asked how many more trips in 2010. The year will end even if you still are camping. Shocked

That's because I can't really no way to tell. It all depends on the weather and if company shows up. Very Happy

We will try to get in another weekend trip before our Thanksgiving trip and then if we have any $$ left, we will probably go somewhere for the week between Christmas and New Years. Maybe to the beach. We will winterize before we leave Pine Mountain and then if we do go somewhere for Christmas, we will just de-winterize, then do it again before we return home.

We usually blow out the lines and put a little bit of pink stuff in the drains and that's it. We've never had a problem.

I would like to camp somewhere.. soon. COVE LAKE is ok.. but I have been there twice during my limited camping this year.. might wanna try some other CG.

As far as remaining camping this year.. I have one trip planned in early December.. if the weather cooperates.

So you guys will just winterize at the park? That sounds like a good idea, I will bring some pink and try to do the same.

Chuck, I can tell you right now that the best site there is #61. It is in the very back and is right on the creek. It has #62 beside it, so if you have friends, that makes it wonderful. There is also a cabin there near it.

It is the furthest from the bath house, swimming pool, but also it is away from most of the other 60 campsites by at least 30 feet. (You know, for the pigeon forge area, that's pretty far away.)

Anyway, I think it is a "premium" site, and a couple $ more each nite.
