Fishing License in Tennessee

Been looking at the TWRA website for information on getting a fishing license. I see that they are available at WAL-MART.. so I will probably buy there.

Is the "Annual Hunting & Fishing Combination license" the one I need to buy? It's $28.00.
I have no desire to hunt.. but it looks like this is the cheapest license.. other than a "one day" or "county of residence" license. I will most likely only fish from time to time on a camping trip. I wasn't going to buy a license.. but my wife said it might be better to pay $28 now.. than $150 later.

That would be the one to buy! If you trout fish any you will also have to have a trout stamp to go with it. Most trout fishing is either at Tellico or Hiwasse Rivers or some of the tailrace areas below the dams. It is also good to have if you visit Gatlinburg alot.
We went to gat. on a trip when we first moved to Tn and I got up early and walked thru town just fishing around there and caught my limit.

Yep. That's the one we get, also at WalMart.
