PopUp for Sale, probably
Okay Brave Souls,
I'm considering selling Miss Danger. Since I took Dave's advice and put in a whole new lift system, she hasn't given any trouble. She has every luxury and modification that can be added to a pop up, both in conventional and unconventional manners. She was a lot of fun to camp in.
She is a Coachmen 12 foot box 1996 I think, I have a title someplace. It has a full-size roof AC unit. She has a good 3-way fridge, a gas stove that can be used inside or out, a furnace, a portable potty (The famed "Wildfire") that was once owned by Chuck himself, and a 110volt water heater (I would use a heavy duty extension cord to plug it in separately). I'll even throw in the BAL leveler. The 12-volt converter has never given me any problems. The tires are in good shape and not sun-rotted. She pulls like she's not even back there, and has electric brakes. I laugh a lot about my early days with this camper, and I certainly did go overboard with the mods and improvements, but now she is a great pop-up camper. Perfect for someone that wants to go camping, but doesn't want a big tow vehicle, or that doesn't have room to store a bigger hard-side camper. She tows with just a regular 2 inch ball. This is not a "like new, never used" camper. The kids and I used her a lot. She is, however in good shape, clean and ready to camp.
I'd trade her for a boat/motor/trailer that works, or I'd sell her for $1,200.38. (Only the $0.38 is negotiable.) I don't have any idea what she is worth in terms of book value, and I don't really care. If I can't get that much cash, or an old boat that is still ready to ride, I'll just keep her.

Re: PopUp for Sale, probably
I have sent your post to a friend (yes, I still sent it to her anyway) and they may be interested. Well, she is interested, I'm not so sure about her hubby. We'll see.
Re: PopUp for Sale, probably
Sold. Gone. She went to a better home, with new parents that will love her!
Re: PopUp for Sale, probably
This weekend will be their maiden voyage in her to Natural Tunnel.
They are thinking upon a new name. They don't seem to like "Miss Danger".
You need to run over and pick up your mattress. It's sitting outside and I keep having to dry it off. It's only about 20 miles!!

I forgot about the Mattress, I'll scoot over.
She needs a new name, I thought they changed it to PopUp Princess?
