rock creek in erwin

I am going to rock creek campground in Erwin May30th through the 1st of June for my 33rd b-day. If any one is interested $15 a night they don't take reservations though. Nice campground just no running water at the sites just community water . Has electricity and bathhouses though.

I may be able to make this one JB. I will post here when I know for sure. I have been wanting to camp at Rock Creek. I may even brave the cold pool.

Do the hike up to Rock Creek Falls. It's probably a middle difficulty hike... in my humble opinion. It's got a fairly large area up there to have a snack and stand in/under the falls. There are two falls, upper and lower, be sure to go all the way to the upper ones. They are not far from the lower falls, maybe 10 or 15 minutes. I don't know what the total distance is. I'm thinking we did it in 2 or 3 hours, including the picnic/rest stop at the top. Take your camera

That would be great and thw last time i went the pool wasnt as cold as every one said

Well just checked the weather and it is supposed to be crappy weather and i was told i have to be at a work thing Sunday so i don't guess I'll get to go after all Richard we will have to try and schedule something this summer since we live so close together and the kids are close. The same yage hopefully we can get together some time i was wanting to come down your way to warriors path sometime this summer if i got the chance.

I also have a conflict this weekend. I traded a speaking engagement for a free weekend in Gatlinbufg for my family.
