I've been thinking of getting a fan to take along on camping trips to keep flying bugs away. Does anyone use a fan for that? What type would be best.... osculating 16", Box fan 20", Smaller fan for inside the gazebo???

We have something like this and it is fantastic to have outside on a warmer days under the awning.
It also works well inside to move air around and keep the entire camper cooler in the warm months.

We have both and use them. The dogs usually get the box fan and we use the oscillating one.

We keep electric fan in camper to use around the campfire. It works great as smoke control.
I have a Ryobi 18 volt cordless fan that's pretty handy too. So if anyone has a Ryobi drill set you can hit home depot up for a fan . Its only around 20 for the fan only. They also sell a nice light and radio that all runs on same battery.

I have a big, but portable shop fan that I take. Lots of air. I have been known to hook a misting thingy up in front of the fan for outdoor air conditioning. I love it.
