Black Streaks on Camper
Want to share since the camper has been sating in the yard for sometime with no enjoyment of a camping trip, so i decide to clean some of the black water streaks off. As always before I used a magic eraser and 409 cleaner. But this time I mixed up some baking soda and peroxide to a paste. It did a great job, I have never cleaned with this mix on the camper before, but now I will continue to use this. With using the magic eraser the camper has a nice shine to it. Waxing soon..

Re: Black Streaks on Camper
I use a cleaner called "Awesome" from the dollar store...I first read about it on rv net and its fabulous, just spray on wipe off and it doesnt take the shine away. Those black streaks dissapear with a wipe..I use it full strenght out of the spray bottle it comes in. I also got some awning cleaner from camper world..dont recall the name but it works great, but I've used a small scrub brush lightly on the streaks.

Darlene, be careful with the Magic Erasers and don't rub too much. It is a very high grit sandpaper, so it will, with enough rubbing, rub off decals and the finish.

Kim I used that Awesome to it is great. Donna I did that once a while back and your right, the blue decals became dull, so now I only use it on the parts that don't have the decals. I try not to rub with the eraser to much they don't last to long LOL. Thanks girls
